As a start to my new Blog, I thought that I would write a series regarding Information Security, and in such a way that it can be a good reference for anyone to refer to, regardless of how computer savvy they are.
There are a lot of things happening in the world of Information Security of late, and a lot of FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt) by those in the media that really don't know what they are talking about, and don't consult those that do, or the right people that do, for their pieces on the subject.
So I am hoping that as you read these you can learn something that will change your habits. I believe that as more people understand these type of items, that the ways that cyber criminals are currently attacking will no longer be easy and profitable. Whether that then pushes them into more high level attacks, or they just keep trying anyway, we will see.
